From the second we walked in, Jordan, our cashier, greeted us with the kind of energy and warmth that most restaurants wish they had on their best day. I’m talking professional, kind, funny, efficient—just an all-around rockstar. Jordan made us feel like regulars even though it was our first time. Now onto the food: I ordered the Spicy Jalapeno Baja Burger and let me tell you—FINALLY, a burger that understands the assignment. Most places toss on a jalapeno or two and call it spicy. Not Smashburger. This burger brought the fire. It was bold, full-flavored, and actually spicy in a way that complimented the burger instead of overpowering it. I felt every bite in the best way possible. Then came the Cookies & Cream Oreo milkshake... Listen. I’ve had milkshakes across the country. Jordan made our first time so memorable. He patiently explained everything to us and made some wonderful suggestions for us to try. What a phenomenal experience. The food turned out really great, as well!
My husband and I get food to go from here or eat at the place atleast once to twice a week sometimes more. We loove this burger! Its the best burger we have had yet!!!!!!! Thank you for being in Tampa and being close and showing us what a burger and fries sjould taste like.
Tasted fantastic! Had a brisket burger (double) with a fried egg added to it. Also got the truffle burger (double) with extra cheese. The mushroom fanatic in me loved it! Fries with rosemary were good and the brussel sprouts were worth the money.
This place has always been my fave go-to for mushroom Swiss burgers they have actual handmade smashed burgers and it’s so flavorful
Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good. Order was correct. Ate inside. Used groupon and only paid the difference. The bacon is amazing. Kinda pricey. Fries were good. The bacon was so good... I'm finishing my burger loving the bacon. Would come back for the bacon. Single patty extra bacon next time.
So I've been coming here pretty regularly since it's on my way to/from my current contract. Everything I've ordered has come out perfectly (just one time where it was too salty). Where this place really shines is the counter staff. Isabelle always greets with a smile and is happy to give honest answers to any questions. Definitely worth the stop, especially if you're a little nostalgic about going back to a smashburger since they all closed a few years ago
